Jessica 'Jess' Bessell grew up with a love for both fine-art and performance-based art, as well as on-screen behind-the-scenes documentaries of filmmaking. Soon to be graduating, Jess has redirected her passion towards the artistic visual storytelling of filmmaking during studying Production Design for Film and Screen at MetFilm School Brighton.
Throughout her time at university, Jess has learnt many skills to prepare her for life within the film industry. From practical led prop-making to logistical based production documents, Jess has familiarised herself with all fronts of the art department. Eager to be involved, Jess has undertaken roles on multiple student films as Production Designer, Set Dresser and Standby Art Director.
